NRUTYA SHABDA : ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2018

- Details of the competition - 

(A) Registration:

(1) Entry Fees – Rs. 100/- per entry
(2) Mode of payment: Participant can pay the fees by Paytm/cash/cheque. All the details are mentioned in the application form.
(3) Age Criteria:
Junior Group- 15 – 25 years
Senior Group- 26 years onwards
(4) Register your name at the following e-mail ID:

(5) After registration, a proforma application form will be sent to you. Participant should fill the form and also pay the Entry fees. Without entry fees your registration cannot be confirmed.
(6) Acceptance of your participation will be confirmed by e-mail.
(7) Last date for acceptance of participation: 25 November, 2018



(B) Writing and the submission of the essay:
(1) Four topics will be declared and sent to the participants on 30 November, 2018. You can choose any one of them.
(2) Participant may give a different sub-title to his/her essay under the topic.
(3) The essay should be between 800-1000 words.
(4) Language(s) of expression: Marathi, English, Hindi (any one)
(5) Use of images allowed in the essay.
(6) Only computer- typeset papers will be accepted (PDF only). Handwritten is not allowed.
(7) Last date of receipt of the essay: 31 December, 2018.
(8) Submission should be done in PDF on or before the last date to the e-mail ID mentioned above.
(9) References of work cited, if any, may be given at the end of the essay separately.
(10) Title portion, author’s name and address and references section will be counted in the word limit assigned for the essay.
(11) Copy of matter from other participants essay—in full or in part—will tend to disqualify both the participants.



(C) Results & Prizes:

(1) Results of the competitions will be duly announced by the organizers at :

Loud Applause : Facebook page & website :  www.loudapplause.com
Intimation of the results will be sent to the winners.
(2) Two prizes will be announced for the best of the essays in each group of juniors and seniors. The prizes will be in the form of a token of appreciation from the organizers.
(3) The judges’ decision will be final.
(4) All rights regarding declaration of any or all results are reserved.
(5) Certificates of appreciation will be given to the winners.
