~~MANNFARID band~~

Pune based band called "Mannfarid" had performed on 22nd July, 2015 at the Blue Frog, Ishanya Mall; to introduce and encourage the band "Coshish" who had their DVD launch at the same venue.
Sources who attended the concert, said that; "They had a rendition of their original songs, which happened to be the favourite songs amongst the crowd, making them go crazy as they played through the night. The band members were themselves very involved in playing, which got the crowd more excited. They were outstanding."
This group of band formed back in 2011 under the name “Redefined” but
from November 2013 the band is popularly known as “Mannfarid”.
Mannfarid diversify initial English lyrical themes Hindi,
while retaining and enhancing sound of the band. The whole idea is to bring in
the fresh new sound along with traditional sound with a little ‘Indian’ feel.
We perceive our sound towards the heavier side yet keeping the melody alive.
All of the band members have distinctive influences and style from each other.
Each of the band members hales from combination of genres like Metal, Rock
Fusion, Indian classical, Progressive.
They have headlined multiple rock competitions and have 30+
performances under their belt by enthralling crowds all over India which can be
justified by achievement of the VIMA Music Awards for Best Rock Song for their
debut single “Hoslo ke Paro Mein” which was judge over 700 entries from India,
Sri-Lanka & Pakistan and which got chosen for the MTV Roadies X2 Anthem.
Mannfarid even got taken as the Official Music Partner for the Ruggedian Race
held in Kolhapur 2015.
Apart from their spellbinding act MANNFARID have also had
some special performances at the Nirvana Studio (Mumbai), Sunday Jam at HRC
(Pune) and have been the artist of the preference for World Music Day
Celebration at the Radio One HQ in Pune 2014. The band members have also
individually been appearing as judges at prestigious festivals such as Channel
[V] Launchpad, Sympulse, Crescendo(ISB & M),Trinity College to name of a
few.
